Board of Directors

 

The Response Analytics Board of Directors oversees the long-term growth and well-being of the company. The Board is focused on driving the success of Response Analytics in the financial services software market.

 

Brent Lippman
CEO and Chairman of the Board
Response Analytics, Inc.

Brent is a serial entrepreneur who has created over $1 billion of shareholder value while running four software companies.  As CEO of Khimetrics, he identified promising scientific intellectual property, provided initial angel investment, raised additional venture capital funding, created a new industry segment (Revenue Management), grew the business profitably, sold the company to SAP, and returned to initial investors an average annual return of 77%.

Prior to Khimetrics, Brent was CEO of JDA Software (NASDAQ: JDAS). During Mr. Lippman’s eight year tenure, he grew JDA into a company with $140 million in revenue, 1,100 associates, and operations in 11 countries with clients in over 30 countries.

Brent has an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

 

Donald A. Lucas
Lucas Venture Group

Don, a second-generation venture capitalist, founded the RWI group of funds in 1993, successfully raising five different funds of various proportions, and then subsequently founded the Lucas Venture Group in 2007.

Don's father, Donald L. Lucas was one of the first practicing venture capitalists in Silicon Valley. Don worked alongside his father for more than a decade as an associate and investor. Some of these investments include Oracle, Macromedia (acquired by Adobe), Intuitive Surgical, Cadence Design, and nQuire (acquired by Siebel, which was acquired by Oracle).

Under Don’s guidance, his firm's past investments included Khimetrics (acquired by SAP), Dexcom, Lightspeed International (acquired by Cisco), BlueArc, Turin Networks, Intraspect (acquired by Vignette), and Paracor Medical.

Don also serves on the Boards of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Richard M. Lucas Foundation, and is a member of the UCSF Diabetes Center Leadership Council. Don holds a B.A. from Santa Clara University.

 

Brian Smith
Peninsula Ventures

Brian has more than 15 years of venture capital experience. Prior to Peninsula Ventures, he served as a Managing Member and was responsible for the Menlo Park office of Dominion Ventures.

Brian's current investments include Camstar Systems, Communispace, Intesource, MarketTools and Quality Care Solutions. Select past investments include Coinstar (NASDAQ: CSTR), Efficient Networks (IPO and then acquired by Siemens), Myriad Genetics (NASDAQ: MYGN), P-Com (NASDAQ: PCMS), and PowerQuest (acquired by Symantec).

Brian holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Rahul Gupta
Fiserv, Inc.

Rahul is the Group President, Payments and Industry Products with Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ:FISV). Rahul has a broad background in financial services and payment industries. In his current position, Rahul leads the Fiserv Payments and Industry Products Group with oversight for various payments businesses, risk management solutions and industry products.

Prior to Fiserv, Gupta led eFunds, as President, U.S. Operations. Additionally he has more than 20 years of experience in financial technology management with firms such as PriceWaterhouse Management Consultants, Fidelity Investments and i2 Technologies.

 

William Baumel

RWI Ventures

Bill is a Managing Director and oversees the technology practice at RWI.  He was selected as a "VC 100", which is one of the top 100 venture capitalists based on successful investment returns, and has been named annually as a "Power Player in the Cloud" by AlwaysOn.

 

Bill holds a B.S. summa cum laude from Ohio State University and an MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan, which assures that you will find him at a major college bowl game around the New Year's holiday.
